So, something weird happened to me recently. I was just hanging out at home with my mom and sister on a regular afternoon. I wasn’t expecting anything unusual, but then I saw something outside my window. At first, I thought it was just a shadow moving, which seemed normal. But then, as I kept observing, I noticed the movements were strange—like jerky, unnatural movements that just don't look human.

The shadow looked like a person, but not like any person I’ve ever seen. It had this huge head, long limbs, and thin arms and legs. Big head, eyes, and a small body. But here's the thing: I couldn’t see the figure clearly, only the shadow. And what really got me was that it seemed to know I was watching it. When I quietly said, “alien, alien,” (loud enough for my mom and sister to hear in the room we all three were sitting in but quiet enough that the sound wouldn't have gone outside the room), it disappeared. Just like that. I rushed outside to check, but there was nothing. No humanoid figure and nothing that would explain it.

Now, I know a lot of you guys would be like— “It was probably just a trick of the light, or someone was outside messing around or my brain fooling me” but the weird part? The movements. I’ve never seen a shadow behave like that before. My mom and sister didn’t notice anything odd at all. They thought it was just kids playing somewhere on the terrace. But no kids were around, and it was the middle of the afternoon, so that didn’t really work for me to accept that it would be some random kids playing.

Then, the thought crossed my mind—could it have been something like the stories of 'grey aliens' we hear about? You know, the ones with huge heads, large black almond-shaped eyes, and skinny bodies with long arms but short stature? Like I described earlier. Have I seen something like that, lost or exploring? I’m not sure what it was, but it felt like an encounter with something unfamiliar, something beyond explanation. Or maybe there’s an explanation for this kind of shadow that I just don’t know about, something I haven’t learned yet (Yes, I don't have much knowledge about shadows but I'm trying to understand as our brain tricks us a lot). Either way, I’m still left wondering.

Honestly, I’m still not sure what happened. Maybe it was just a weird shadow, or maybe I saw something no one else is supposed to see. But I wanted to share this because it felt like a one-in-a-lifetime kind of thing. Have any of you had something similar happen? Or maybe you think it was all in my head? Either way, I’m still trying to make sense of it.
